Z-Terra North Attends the Oil & Gas Summit in Cartagena Colombia
From October 24-26 2023 Z-Terra North team members were in Cartagena Colombia for the Oil & Gas Summit. Thanks to everyone who came to visit us at stand #55! It was a pleasure to meet you all and to share our work with you. Our team members enjoyed sharing our data examples and talking with those at the convention about our knowledge and experience with seismic data processing in South America and around the globe. We look forward to seeing you again at the next convention event.
Z-Terra North’s Seismic Processing Aids Frontera in Drilling Successful New Wells
A recent News Report from Frontera detailed their successful appraisal well Yin-2 in Ecuador.
The Yin-2 well was drilled in July 2023, discovering 48 feet of net pay in the Lower U sand and 24 feet net pay in the Hollin formation. The well has been successfully completed with initial production rates of 1,200 bbl/d of 30.5-degree API crude oil.
The Yin-2 well was drilled based on the successful completion of the Perico block PSDM volume delivered by Z-Terra North to Frontera geoscientists. The other successful wells drilled by Frontera and Geopark in the Perico Block, the Jandaya-1, Tui-1 and Yin-1 exploration wells were drilled as part of an ongoing project, due in part to the PSTM seismic processing work by the Z-Terra North team.
Our team has been working closely with the team at Frontera & Geopark to achieve the best seismic data results for this block allowing the Frontera team to avoid possible hazards and drill into areas of net pay.

Z-Terra North Awarded New PSTM/PSDM Project in Colombia
Recently Z-Terra North was awarded an important PSTM/PSDM Advanced Technology project in Upper Magdalena Valley Basin in Colombia by a major oil & gas company. The Z-Terra North team is excited for this new opportunity to use our extensive knowledge and experience with processing seismic data in Colombia. Working closely with the team at the oil & gas company, Z-Terra North will strive to bring our excellent customer service and modern seismic processing techniques to achieve great results with this project. We want to thank the project team at the oil & gas company for giving us this opportunity.
Z-Terra North attends 84rd EAGE Annual Conference
On June 5-8th Z-Terra North attended the EAGE Annual Conference in Vienna, Austria. It was a wonderful experience and our team enjoyed meeting everyone who came by the Z-Terra booth. 6th Annual Technology Day
On Friday January 27th Z-Terra North, along with Petroseismic Services, hosted the 6th annual Technology day in Bogota, Colombia. The event included 9 presentations, with 9 different speakers, and 53 in-person attendees. Z-Terra North Attends Il Cumbre Oil & Gas Conference in Bogota
Members from the Z-Terra North team (Dan Negut, Trino Salinas, Alex Negut) attended the Il Cumbre Oil & Gas Conference which took place November 15-18 in Bogota, Columbia. This conference was attended by over 3,400 people and the Z-Terra North booth was well received. Our team members had a wonderful time networking and thanking everyone who took the time to talk with us, attend our CCUS presentations, and visit our booth.
Z-Terra North attends EAGE/HGS Conference on Latin America
Z-Terra North attended the fourth HGS/EAGE Conference in Latin America which took place 14-16 September 2022 in Cartagena, Colombia.
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us. It was great to meet everyone and share our Z-Terra North technologies and our work in Latin Ameria.
The Z-Terra North team is growing
Z-Terra North is growing! We want to welcome Kassim Gora and Derek Lemonson to the
team.
Kassim will be joining us as a Sr. Geophysical Programmer, coming to us with years of
experience as a software developer for Divestco and in the geoscience industry.
Derek will be working with the team in the role of Sr. Geophysicist. With his experience as a
geophysicist working with ARCIS, TGS, and WESTERN GECO, we are excited to add his
knowledge and talent to the Z-Terra North team.
